My only bad experience (although significant) was an obstruction 1.5 days post-op. I had been transferred to a regular floor from ICU and the nursing staff there never notified Dr. that I had been vomiting. About 16-18 hours after I started vomiting Dr. checked on me during rounds and found out that I was critical. Again, nursing staff not MD."
