"Dr. Curci is a very nice man. I was worried that he would make me feel uncomfortable about wanting this surgery, but that was definitely NOT the case. I came prepared to justify my decision but there was no need, Dr. Curci was very understanding. He is surprised that more pcp's don't offer wls as an alternative for patients. His office staff was very friendly. They gave me a packet of information about the hospital I will be going to and offered to answer any questions I had. I will be meeting with a nutritionist before and after my surgery and will continue to see Dr. Curci to make sure that things stay on track after my surgery. He emphasized that the surgery is a tool and that I need to eat right and exercise to get the most from it. I would highly recommend Dr. Curci at this point. He seems very surgically competent, he does about 2 of these operations a week and has only seen 2 complications and they were minor things (a hernia on the incision line and adhesions). He has been doing this type of surgery for many years and seems to stay current on the latest procedures. These are my opinions from my personal experience to date."
