Ruth~I am so happy to hear that you made it to the other side and are doing well....in fact you're doing very well!! The weight loss is great!! I too had a "high" goal weight since I didn't think I would be one of those the surgery would work for!! I weighed 250 preop so I was hoping to lose 100 lbs.But now even though I am losing slowly I think I'm gonna aim for 140(or less).But no matter what,remember to judge your progress by the way you feel and how much more you can do rather than what the scales say.At 184lbs I am still a fat girlie but I am so much happier and healthier than I was prior to surgery.I already view my surgery a success..anything beyond this is a bonus!! Ruth, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Ruth~I wish you the best with your upcoming surgery.Your date will be here before you know it. 12 weeks and over 50 lbs later I can definately say this is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself.Keep us posted on your progress. God Bless~Kim
