"Dr. Ferrari is a fine, caring surgeon. He was willing to answer all questions and took plenty of time to listen.
If I have any complaints, it is that there is not more pre-and post-op support as in groups. Living in Dallas now and hearing how many of the doctors here operate, I feel that support groups involving a nutritionist, the doctor, and other professionals would be extremely helpful. His staff, especially Blanca, are very friendly and helpful but I think that more support is needed in the form of meetings.
The after care consists mostly of weigh-ins, checking the surgery site, and asking if there are any problems. These are visits at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and 2 years, I think."
