A little over five weeks...

and I will be having surgery! The time is going by somewhat quickly. It's already been a months since I was told my surgery date. One would think I would be nervous, but I guess that will come when it gets much closer. I have a few appointments in July for pre-op stuff. On the 10th I have my last pre-op appt with Dr Gersin, and so I'm wondering what all that involves. On the 13th I go in to the hospital for the pre-op blood work, and to talk to the nurse about everything to expect. On the 20th I have to go in for a bone density scan, and my last nutrition class. The next day, the 21st, I start my liquid diet. I will need to go shopping before then. We are going to the beach from July 1st to July 6th. I am excited to have a nice vacation before the surgery, because I know that I won't be able to do much for a few weeks after surgery.
