"A little over a year after my Open RNY, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had to have a double mastectomy and Dr.Soler is the surgeon who is currently handling my breast reconstruction. Dr. Soler has been so good about working with me. I had hoped that I could have had the Tram Flap procedure that would have given me my breast reconstruction as well as a tummy tuck, but Dr.Soler strongly advised against it because of my prior surgeries (Open RNY, 2 c-sections & a hysterectomy). He explained the problems that could develop which could cause me to have major problems with healing afterwards. I was disappointed, but understood why I could not have this particular procedure."

He, along with his staff have been there all the way for me. One of the best things about having Dr. Murr for my surgeon is the support that is offered after WLS. We now have a post-op support group that will be providing info from specialists as well as personal information from other pos-ops from those just out of surgery to others that have been post-ops for 1 - 2 years. "
