Hello to all! My name is Shelle Samaha from Beaumont, Texas. I am a 33 year old mother of two. beautiful boys. I have been a 4th grade teacher for 10 years then I became a stay at home mom 1 year ago. I am married to the most adorable, sweet and supportive man, Jimmy Samaha. I have battled with my weight since I got married and then I got pregnant with my first son and gained 79 pounds. I also had gestational diabetes, so that didn't help matters any. The 2nd pregnancy, I gained 105 pounds and didn't lose much of that after the baby was born. He is now almost THREE and I was still fighting the weight problem. I had spoken with a few people that had a gastric bypass and said it was the best desicion they ever made. So I researched it and my husband and I decided it was right for our family. During all the labwork that was done pre-op, I learned I had the beginning stages of diabetes, acid reflux, gall stones, and I SNORE like a tractor!! SOOOOOOOOOOOO, it kinda justified the scary surgery to me. I am still in the shock that I ACTUALLY did the surgery, but I am looking forward to the new and improved me!!!
