Hello my name is Amy. I am trying to have the WLS. My first appointment with the WLS doctor is set for June 9th. I am very excited about possibly having the surgery. I have struggled with my weight all my life. My dad had the surgery done like 10yrs ago. I am the only one out of four children that has had weight issues and health problems like my dad. I will update more information after my first appointment. If anyone has information or support I would greatly appreciate it.
8-13-07----I had my surgery on August 2 2007. I have lost about 25lbs so far. I am still recovering and trying to find food on the Stage 3 diet that I like and can handle. I don't feel like eating much at all. I still think about food that I use to eat but not interested in eating anything. I will update more later. Thanks
