Still A Fat Girl, Still Trying!

I had my surgery Dec. 6, 06 and had every complication you could think of. I was in the hospital with a leak, coma two weeks, hospital six weeks, rehab six weeks and then had a liver problem, and am now dealing with a full abdominal hernia. What's the good news? I'm still here! I will fight to the bitter end to be healthy and a productive person! I have learned that self pity and whinning only feel good for a little while, then you just get pissed! I'm only 52yrs. old and by golly I have alot to give! I have been looking for a job with the Vocational Rehab of Oregon for about nine months now. I need to find a sit down job because the hernia bothers me if I stand alot. I used to be a barista and loved it. I loved the customers that came in every single day and would love to find something that would involve people again!  I will keep trying as long as it takes!
