Dr visit yesterday, Dec 18th.  All was great.  He was pleased with my progress.

Today was my first post-op doctor visit.  Since 8-1, I have lost 74 lbs.  Purees for one more week.  Yuckie!
Doctor was very happy with progress.  Blood pressure was normal.  Drove to and from hospital with no pain in my knees.  Walked into doctors office without getting out of breath.

God is amazing!  So thankful.

Today I am 8 days post-op.  I've done very well.  Was able to handle the full liquids well now being moved to pureed food today.  First stop....cottage cheese.  Hopefully it will be bland enough to sit well on my tummy and it's loaded with protein.
Dinner will be chicken blended to mush.  Very tired but I think that's probably natural.  Sip, sip, sipping.  Walking.  Blessed and excited to be on this journey.

Went for my pre-op visit and surgery scheduling.  Scheduled for Aug 20th.  Pre-op blood work, xrays and Pulmonary visit setup for Aug 7th.  My new way of life has begun.  Looking forward to less pain and more motion.
