Since last time just like I predicted I got pregnant AGAIN! But, it gave me my first Son. He was worth it but because of that and money problems I have had to push back researching my Surgery and Surgeon again. I was hoping to be 100 pounds lighter by now. I guess you have to go with what life gives you. I now have to find a way to pay for my Surgery. Insurance is a joke they are no help at all. I had thought about going to Brazil like a lot of you do but I am one of those woman who cannot leave there children. We have thought of alot of different ways to get there but none seem right. If any of you have any ideas let me know. I do have to say that while I was pregnant I lost some weight so my BMI is lower than before. I just try to keep on trucking. I wish all of you luck.

I know it has been awhile since I have updated. Here it goes. I still have not had the surgery. I have been really busy I have started school and being a mom of two little ones is a major job. I have been researching different surgeons and the self-pay cost. I think I might have found a surgeon to go with. So now I need to save up the money. I have changed my mind about RNY and I think the best surgery for me and my situation is DS. I am considering the Dr. M in Brazil. I have studied him and have heard GREAT things about him. So I hope I am right. I think I will wait to have the surgery after I am done with school. This will be towards the end of 2006. I know you all might be thinking "just do it you will feel better" I know, I know but I am on an accelerated Associates program and I can not afford to take that much time out of school. I called UW on Friday the 27th to see how my application was. And were it is in the process. Well the Gal from UW tells me that I need another Co morbidity because of DSHS. And she tells me if we cannot find one that DSHS counts then I do not get it. I cannot believe it I have worked so hard to get ALL the paper work in and everything. I am trying to look for another Insurance Company that I can use. I have had no luck. If anyone has any ideas please drop me a line I could really use the advise. I need this surgery soon I keep gaining weight no matter what I do. And knowing my luck if I do not get it soon I will probably get Pregnant again. LOL That is what happened with my Heart Surgery. LOL Anyway I am trying to keep positive and keeping my hopes up. God speed and good luck to you All.

Well, I finally sent of the paper work for UW. I sent it Thursday I really hope I hear back from them really soon. I am so excited to get things going I can hardly stand it. I keep praying it all goes smooth!! Well, as smooth as it can go with DSHS. LOL I feel so ready for this surgery, I have read so many profiles and I am on here almost every night so that I might learn something new that will help me post or pre op. I really appreciate you guys and the sight. Thanks a Million.

I have been busy trying to get all my diet history and stuff ready. But, the gal I had been corresponding with from Surgical Specialist just stopped E-mailing me. So that appointment fell through. So now I am going to have to go through UW and I heard there waiting list is very long so I hope I can get this surgery soon. I now have to fill out all of UW's paper work jut so they can see if I get a consultation appointment. Boy I hope I make it through their criteria. LOL

Well, I finally found a Surgeon and Hospital that takes DSHS for WLS. Surgical Specialist of Spokane. It is a long drive but it will be worth it in the long run. I have contacted them through E-mail and Phone today. I have heard nothing yet but I am hoping to get an appointment soon. I have been getting ready all the information I need to take with me to the appointment. I hope I get it all together!!!! :) Wish me luck
