A New Beginning

January 25, 2007 (AM)
I am posting this after a very difficult two and a half month's on my Journey. I went on a sabbatical in October, 2006, due to the fact that for two years after my WLS I was on Effexcor and anti-depressant that was kicking my behind! I began to develop a palsy in my right hand and it just numbed my emotions. I went to Washington State to "A Place of Hope" and the anti-depressant contributed to some weight gain back. I have lossed 16 pounds since coming off the anti-depressant. I am working out very hard with my friend Pete Mitchell, and I am doing my AA meetings again in which I found my serentity. My circumstances have not changed but I have changed. Matter of Fact a friend of mine yesterday said to me, "Al you have allot more peace!" The answer is, "Awesome!" Thank God for this community and so many people who are on the Journey.
