Amanda's Guide To Stalls

Amanda's Guide To Stalls.

Most people stall in semi-predictable patterns.

The first is time from surgery. most people stall at 3 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, other multiples of 3. This is your body catching up with itself. Continue to eat your protein and drink your water.

The second is "milestone" markers. 201, 299, major goals (100 pounds lost, 50% EWL, or any goal you have set for yourself). This is typically because of a change in eating habits. Perhaps you are celebrating with food, slacking on exercise, etc. Eat your protein, drink you water, and watch the carbs.

The last is the monthly patterns that women have. This are typically apparent in months 4 and 5, use those as patterns. My pattern is that I will stay the same weight for a week, then drop a few pounds in a few days. I stalled for 2 weeks, then dropped 4 pounds in 3 days. I am on continuous birth control, so I dont get periods every month.
