jumping right in

I had my last weigh in yesterday morning. that completes my 6 month diet. i had hoped that i would have everything done before my last weigh in, but making a "mental health evaluation" appointment turned out to be harder than teaching a dog how to read.  luckily, after hours of calling around one day, someone finally picked up their phone!  so i have an appointment for that next friday and then everything will be done.  as it gets closer, the more i start to second guess and have doubts.  but i'm not going to allow myself to talk myself out of this yet again. i am commited, i am eager, i am educated and i am excited.  i have never had any surgery before and i think that's where the fear comes from. in fact, when i had my egd (required for my surgeon) a few weeks ago, that was my first experience with anesthesia.  no complications of course, but i was only under for about 10 minutes.  hopefully an hour+ surgery goes just as well. 

wow, this was an awesome way to vent. i will be back on here for sure.
