"I have nothing but excellent things to say about Dr. Terracina. My first impression was of a confident, knowledgable doctor. In the hospital, prior to surgery, he spent a great deal of time at the bedside, answering questions and talking. I knew he was going out of town right after my surgery, but was followed up by his partner. Dr Terracina called me from his vacation and left me his cell phone number in case I needed to talk to him. How many doctors would do that, I wonder?
He did the surgery laparscopically and the incisions look wonderful. I didn't even have bruising to speak of (and I had only stopped my daily aspirin a month prior to surgery).
His office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. After one or two visits, they know you and greet you by name. He has pre-care in place as well as a great aftercare program. Your fees include follow-up for a year, three visits with a nutritionists and many other things.
I would highly recommend him to anyone as well as the hospital staff at Sentara Hampton. They have a little bariatric wing and the nurses are awesome!"
