Joined AnyTime Fitness Jan. 2011. Going 3-5X's a week. Gaining FLEXIBILTY and TONING the muscles! Great place to be in life. My MAIN goal from 2003 weightloss RNY was to be healthy to enjoy retirement status. Like travel, exercise, walking, biking etc. without the constant weight issues! Accomplished and moving forward!!

Life continues to go on in positive new directions, it is a choice to leave negativity where it belongs...BEHIND me!

Travel is so much fun! We went to France & Alaska this year! In Alaska I was a volunteer at a DayCamp for children for 2 wks. working in their offices updating medical info etc. to aid office and free them to do other needed tasks. Also cleaning/scouring counselor houses and laundry etc. I could not have done any of this without the weight loss and improved health!!

I have not posted in a really long time! Last year in May 2006, I went through an Emergency Surgery for a blocked intestine. It has been a slow recovery with some permanent side-effects I certainly was not expecting.
I'm learning to adjust but it is not simple. Don't get me wrong life is good and this could have happened independent of WLS surgery. I have 2 relatives who had to be treated for blocked intestines and they did NOT have WLS surgery of any kind. So I hope this is the LAST of surgeries for awhile! From 2000-2006 I have been through 6 surgeries. ENOUGH....Still glad I had WLS-RNY proximal laproscopic!!!!
