WEEK 26 UPDATE

2day is june 2, 2009.  and, i am back!!

i've been gone since may 4th because gramps became ill and i spent most of my time in san antonio with him. he succumbed and went to meet Jesus on may 18th. praise God for his victory!

so, i had a really hard time with this though because he was like my father. in fact, he's the only father i've ever known since i grew up without my father. i had a hard time dealing with his death and his funeral services and almost passed out twice. but, i'm better now and take comfort in the knowledge that he is living forever with Jesus and that i will be reunited with him one day too!

so, i weighed myself yesterday for the 1st time since may 4th and learned i weighed 206lbs.so, i've lost a total of 71lbs!!! yeah!!!

so, this summer, i am gonna work hard 2 lose the rest of my weight. i am going back 2 boot camp 2night and will do that tues and thurs. then, i will be meeting my a personal trainer sat and sun. and, in july, i will begin a 23 week training program for a marathon! wow! how exciting! it's amazing how my life has changed in just 6 short months!!

i even was able 2 go on vacation last week 2 get my head 2gether. i took oliver 2 orlando and we went 2 disney, seaworld, and kennedy space center. and, my spirit was lifted! i was soooo low and so depressed! i was eating right or sleeping or exercising or anything! this trip has helpd me get my head back in the game.

and, i was able 2 c how losing 71 lbs affected my life.

i was able to buckle the airplane seatbet and put it tight and have room on both sides of the seat!  i was able 2 sit in a roller coaster ride and pull the safety bar down to my lap instead of just 2 my stomach! lol!! i was able 2 even cross my legs on the airplane while seated with my seat belt on!! lol!!

it was a great trip and i feel so much better and am looking 4ward 2 the next phase of my life!
