anewrayleen
My name is Rayleen - I just turned 38 on July 1st. - My story is like most, I was pretty much overweight all my life. I can remember being 8 years old and being teased by my family because I weighed more than my aunt. It's so funny how in my own mind i don't see myself as big as I really am. It's not until I see a picture or catch a reflection in a window or mirror that I realize how huge I am. I can sure feel it though, my health has been the determining factor in having WLS. My biggest concern is post surgery body image. I'm not in a place to be able to afford plastic surgery. So looks like I will have deal with the outcome. My surgery date is August 6, 2008. Oh, let me see some other things about me . . . I was married for 12 years to a man who loved me as a sister at best. I don't have any children of my own but, i did raise my niece who is now 23 and lives in Hawaii. I work for a non-public school called Achieve Kids - for autistic children. Well TTFN - Your support is greatly appreciated.
