"The only comment I have in the somewhat negative is that where the women recover is on the womens and children unit and when you are going through an ordeal such as this surgery and you get up to make your rounds of laps that you have to pass these sick little children and stressed parents. "

"I have met with Dwayne Smith on 4/28/03. He was very patient, kind, and very informative. All of his staff was very nice and helpful. He has a good bedside manner. What I like about him the most was that when I told him I had a blood clot in my leg in 11/02 and I was cocerned with that he already told me how he would help to reduce the risk post op. He is wonderful. I have not got to the aftercare part of the consultation due to not having all of my paperwork together yet. I feel just in the brief time I have seen him that he is very confident and I trust him to do this surgery. "

"I cannot say enough about Mary. She is truely informative, helpful, a great listener, provides tons of additional information, was able to answer some questions I did not know that I had. I spent almost two hours with Mary and it felt like I just sat down. If you are looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable dietican for helping educate you through this Mary is the lady for you. When I was with Mary I never felt that she looked down upon me because of my obesity nor did I find her biased in any way. I will continue to use her through my adjustment in my dietary needs once the surgery is done. She is a wonderful lady. "
