"My surgeon is Dr. Michael D'almeida. I was reffered to Dr. D'Almeida by my pcp. He is new at performing lap rny which is what I have chose to have, but he has performed open rny for awhile. He also has alot of expeience with other types of lap surgeries. My first impression was wonderful he explained everything from A to Z. I felt that he was very honest with me. I was comfortable with him within the first 10 minutes of the consultation.The office staff at northeast surgical group (Dr. D'ameida's office) was very nice and caring. I knew after my consultation that this was the Dr. and office staff I wanted to spend the next 2 years comming to and seeing these people. The only thing
I would like to see in the future is a support group form. There is not one at this time but as he gets more patients Im sure there will be one. So far on a scale of
1 - 10 I would rate him a 10. My husband was also very impressed with Dr. D'Almeida. It was also important to me that the hospital was close to my home, how lucky I was when I found out he does the surgeries at Mt Clemens general which is only 10 minutes from my house. Dr. D'Almeida and Dr. Hanks are without a doubt wonderful, caring, and compassionate doctors. If you are considering having surgery with one of these two wonderful men you will not be disappointed.
