My name is Angela and I am 46 years old. I have been overweight since I had my first child at the age of 21. Even though my weight fluctuated up and down I could never keep it off. Last year was the year I decided to start making life as healthy as possible. The first step I knew was going to be the worse and would take me on a long road ahead. I quit smoking, its been about a year and half and 60lbs heavier and alot of medical problems. I finally thought long and hard and said this is enough. That is when I decided for the next big step and that was banding. That also was a long road due to my insurance having a 6 month waiting period and classes. It is now the night before surgery and all that liquid is not so appealing any more lol.. I know in the long run it will all be worth it.
