I have been overweight all of my life. I love food. What can I say? I was diagnosed with diabetes one year ago. I take over 300 units of insulin every day and still it is uncontrolled. I found out that this surgery is not as bad as everyone says it is and the risks are much greater if I live with the diabetes and continue to take this medicine. I am excited to be on this journey!
