Bummer !!! Vacation is over.  I have been back at work now for 3 nights.  I miss the room service !!!  Oh, well, it was a great time.  I can now turn my attention to March 2011 when I get to go to Jerusalem. 

Ok, now back to Gym.  I lost 5 pounds while in Italy.
 

Enjoying the world wind tour through Italy.  Seen the sites in Milan, Florence, Assisi and wrapping up the week in Rome.  The food is great, been doing real good with watching what I eat.  I did treat myself this morning for breakfast ( a wonderful filled pastry and coffee from this great little cafe next to Vatican City.  The hotel here in Rome is great.  I am literally right next to to the Vatican Museum and just over the wall is Vatican City.  Well, off to bed.  I have a big day tomorrow.

The thought just hit me....two weeks from today I will be on plane for Milan Italy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have been working on this trip for over 9 months now.  I still have so much to get done.  I have a appointment with the clinic on May 17th for a band check.  I don't think I am going to get an adjustment this go round ( I think it is too close to departure date to mess with it )  going this Monday to get my Euros ; good exchange rate now. 

I wonder how you say LapBand in Italian?

What a great weekend this past weekend turned out to be!  I was able to get the lawn mower, weed eater and the edger out of storage and do some much needed yard work.  I am so glad to be able to be back out in the yard; the sun felt great and I got some much needed vitamin D.  I had to laugh because just seems like yesterday that I was clearing the driveway of snow ( I was much happier clearing it this weekend of grass clippings. 

I did put in a new flower / vegetable bed in the yard.  I pulled up some sickly and overgrown bushes around the deck and put in the new bed.  I think it looks really good, just need to add the dirt and plants( plus a few prayers ).

I was checking the profile and realized I have not made a post this month.  I went to the doctor this past Monday.  I seen the nutritionist as well ( I found this meeting to be a waste of time ) I did get a fill, the doctor put in 0.5cc.  I think I have 5.5 or 6cc in the band now; to be honest I don't remember how much is in there and I forgot to ask.  Oh, well, I guess that is about all, have to get back to work !

Wow this month is almost over !!!!  come on spring !!!!  I am so sick of this snow.  I am ready to get the bike out of storage, dust it off and go for a nice long bike ride    ..  looking forward to end of the month, I am going to go home to Arkansas for an extended weekend; will be nice to see family and friends back home. 

I have made a few changes in my vacation this year.  I decided to use the extra days that I have and head to Las Vegas .  I have never been there and I think it will be fun; I will fly back to the United States on June 4th and turn around and fly out to Vegas on June 5th...  what was I thinking when I planned this....  !!!  I am sure it will be ok ... 

The weight issue is going ok....this Friday the 26th marks my ONE YEAR ...

February 26 is fast approaching and I find it hard to believe that it will have been one year.  I will just say that it has been an interesting year.

I am counting down the days until VACATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I am so excited and so ready.  I have all the hotels booked.  I am just playing the waiting game to see what happens with airline prices.  I finally get to go to Italy; Milan, Florence, Assisi, Rome, Pompeii then on to either Germany or France.  I have extra days left on vacation and decided to make the most of this trip.  COME ON  MAY 22  

So long 2009 and welcome 2010    ... 0345 in the morning and I am just getting my first break at work.  I have been here since last year !!!     .. I have been at work since 630pm 12/31/09 and I only have 3 more hours to go... had a quick lunch ( nothing exciting ) I hate the fact that all the nursing units have food every where and all the nurses are telling me go and get something.  I must confess I did snag and eat 1 Hershey Chocolate Kiss a little after midnight... IT WAS SO GOOD....

Not much exciting going on.  I wanted to add something to the profile before I forget and December slips away.  I do want to wish everyone a joyous and blessed holiday season and may 2010 be the best yet. !!!!!!!!!!!!!
