My name is Karen Marie, I am a mother to a 5 year old girl, named Heaven Grayce, and the wife to a wonderful man. we are an Army family. My husband is currently deployed and will be home before Christmas. I have been over weight most of my adult life, and have struggled with it daily. I am currently at my highest weight EVER and its so depressing to know that i weigh 256lbs, when a year ago i was still in the 100's. I hope that when i have my surgery it will be the greatest tool for me to change my lifestyle, and eating habits. I plan on using this opportunity to make better choices for myself and my family and be a healthier me. I want to be around to watch my lil girl grow up and start her own life, and the thought of me missing out on her, motivates me to change everything about living a healthier life. I hope to make good friends on here, and know that i can come here and talk to anyone, because you all have been through it.
