I am starting to get super excited and nervous about the surgery. 2/11/12 will be my last weight in, then I will find out the surgery date. AHHH. I am trying to get myself in a right spot right now with having a protein shake in the morning and cutting back on fatty foods.  Also trying, and I mean trying to get my butt up and work out, have lack of energy due to all the excess weight.  Carry almost 300 pounds around cant make you tired sometimes.  Cant wait till I wont be like this, tired just from picking up my sons toys off the floor. I have lost a total of 10 pounds since I started, so i guess that is good.  I didn't have to lose any weight for my surgery but I know I need to just to help the doctor.  Well that's all for now.  See ya next time.

Went to doctor and found out that I do not have to do a six month weight monitoring.....I only have to do FOUR months.  That's puts my surgery at March 2012! so excited.  On top of that great news I found out that I get to see my in town PCP for my weight monitoring visits...that saves me a lot as my Sleeve doctor is 4 hours from me.  I just have to go back the last month, have 1 test to see if I have GERD and I am good to go!  So excited to start the new me.  They have a saying at my doctors office that I love....Goodbye fat....hello ME!  Love it!

Went to my PCP for my routine blood work.... my liver is not doing too good.  He told me to up my Vitamin D and B12, so that's what I plan to do.  I am ready for SOME good news .....any.....hello..... any good news there.....?  That's how I feel right now.  Well on the side note I am still looking forward to meeting with my doctor for WLS on 11/11/11.  I have already met him at the seminar but this time I get to see him in the office with the dietitian. Oh how I wish I could get this ball moving faster.  In the mean time I have decide to get my mind ready for all this and I plan to see a weight management pyhciatrist.  Wish I could get my husband on board on all this. 

feeling super fat and like I will never be healthy....which makes me want to lay around and eat.  Not a good day today.  Wish I had a buddy here to help me... husband is super sick so he is out of the question. 

Well i went to the seminar in San Antonio to meet my doctor.  His name is Dr. Carlos G. Martinez with The Texas Center for Medical & Surgical Weight Loss in San Antonio.  He has a very honest face.  I really liked him.  I go for the full appointment where I meet with the dietitian and everything on 11/11/11.  Super excited.  My husband will be going with me as he is so afraid I will die that i have made special arrangements for him to be at all my appointments and counselings so he can get all the information and training first hand.  I am not afraid at all.  I cant wait to start my new life.  Trying to get the energy to get up and walk on my treadmill now is my goal.  I need to stop using it to hang my jacket on!  Ohhhh if there were just a few more hours in the day.  I think about the food I will miss the most after the sleeve, I think it will be pasta.  Oh well, I would give up all pasta for more years with my family.  now i need to firgure out how to make my profile look fun lol

Well this is so new to me, but I know I need to do this.  Hi my name is Ashley and i am overweight.  I have been much of my life.... but now it is starting to affect my love life and my family. I refuse to let this extra bulge beat me.  I have tried many diets but always fail at them.  Due to me being so over weight for my age and height (270 lbs, 26 yrs old, 5ft 0 tall) i have no energy when i get home from work and school.  So that you get to know me a little better here is some inside scoop on my life.  I married my husband 6/28/08 and then on 8/18/08 we had our beautiful little miracle boy Joseph.  We have enjoyed him so much.  He is three years old right now and in EVERYTHING and talks so much.  He looks so much like daddy.  I love to hang out with the family and watch movies.  I love to cook and try new recipes!  That is the only thing that worries me about the surgery, will I still want to cook like I use to?  I have my first appointment on 10/15/11.  I have insurance and have already been pre qualified so I hope all goes well.  I plan to have the VSG done.  Well till then nuggets
