YEAH YOU!!! You're right to be anxious - but it's a good anxious - you're getting ready to start a whole new chapter in your life and you'll be a source of strength to other newbies as they go through the same thoughts and feelings that you're going through pre-op. Know that you are loved and that we will be praying for your speedy recovery and successful weight loss. I'm almost 5 years out and down 100 pounds - I love the new me and the change in my outlook. The same is waiting for you all you have to do is take the step.

Hi Allison! I'm scheduled for my RNY on Feb 17th and I can understand getting nervous. But don't let that stop you from giving yourself what sounds like the best present ever!! Steph

Alison, Congrats on your surgery! I am very excited for you, I only wish that this had been an option when I was in my 20s. I would be so much more healthy now. I know that you are nervous and scared, but take some deep breaths and imagine yourself in 1 year. It is AMAZING, the best thing I ever did for myself and I am only 5 months out. You have a wonderful angel in Vivian and I know that she will keep us posted on your surgery and recovery. HUGS, Mari

Alison.....I am SO VERY EXCITED for you!!!! Please don't get nervious about your upcoming RNY. If you need someone to calm you nerves you have my number and PLEASE use it. You are such a beautiful young lady with so much life ahead of you. I am so proud and thrilled that you have made this life changing decision to gain back your health. Don't worry about a thing. All will be alright. You have waited and worked so very hard for this surgery to happen. Don't let anyone tell you that you are making a mistake by doing this....you know that I will be here for you if you need me. I love ya girl and you just calm down and relax....it will ALL BE OK !!!!
