it's been a while

So.. It's been a while since I posted an entry on my blog.. much over due! 

July 17th (4 weeks tomorrow) I was sleeved! It was the best thing I've ever done! I could not be happier! 

I feel great! Yesterday was my son's birthday party (he will be 2 on the 18th of August) and we had a party for him! It was fantastic! 
My mother in law and grandmother in law had not seen me since before my surgery and they could NOT believe the changes! An ex-coworker also came, she hasn't seen me since June, she could not believe it either! My sister and her husband were there, my sister saw me the day of surgery and said it was a HUGE change, and her husband even said it's TOTALLY amazing! I felt like a million bucks! I still have ways to go, but god, that was a boost I totally needed! 
I've lost 53 lbs since pre opt diet and I just can't believe how lucky I am and how wonderful I feel! 
Yes at times it can be hard, and yes at times I'd like to eat something out of "plan" but I'm trying my hardest to do my best! My husband is also proud of my progress! However, my BIGGEST and most surprising supporter has been my 6 1/2 year old daughter. She tells me every day she is proud of me, how well I am doing, that my "tummy is shrinking" that i'm almost "flat", she is really really proud of me and that I have had this done, and I am so happy to be able to do this and be the mother I want to be for her and her siblings! 

Life is good!
