What an AWFUL day!!

To Everyone-
I have the average "fat girl" story. I have always been overweight, and when I got pregnant I got huge and have not lost a pound. I have been trying to have RNY for about a year now. I went through all of the screenings and physc stuff. I saw a dietition for 6 months. All of that was to meet my doctors requirements along with insurance. I went to a meeting today with all three involved parties( my primary doc, shrink, and dietition) As soon as I got in the room they started saying that I am not ready and I am too young...etc. I have going through this WITH THEM for a year. WHY WHY WHY are they not letting me have the surgery. I am on a military base in Spain so I can't just go see another doctor. I have to wait at least 3 years before I can think about having the surgery again. Those 3 people stole a huge dream of mine... to be healthy and thin. I hate this. :(
