Gastric Bypass Surgery Done on 9/28/08

Hello all my friends! I finally did it. I had my gastric bypass surgery on Monday 9/28/09. I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days because my blood pressure dropped too low for me to leave. But I finally came home on October 1st. I survived the 1st week of clear liquid diet. I started my 2nd week of all liquid diet. I can now have my protein shakes, liquid vitamins, calcium chews, sugar free drinks, sugar free pudding, jello, chicken of beef broth, Cream of Wheat or Oatmeal and plain yogurt.

I have to go out and buy a weight scale and a measuring scale. I weighed in on the day of surgery at 273, I weighed in at 263 the day I left the hospital, that's 10 pounds in 4 days.

This is a new chance on life for me!
