" Dr. Stephen Boyce did an amazing job on my BPD-DS. I cannot imagine having any other surgeon perform this surgery. Melissa and Donna are irreplaceable in his office. The program emphsizes the need to do as they instruct you to. However, I must say that the "program fee" that is required, is a little overrated for what it is. I have had a few calls to the "nurse" that was suppose to be 24/7 only to be told that she was unavailable or asked questions that I never received answers to.
The think I like least about this journey thus far is that i have only seen Dr. Boyce 3 times total. Once for consulation. Once, day of surgery and one follow-up hospital visit. Other than that he hasn't seen me at all.
I would believe his surgical competence rates a little higher than bedside manner. However, I would think that would be the more important of the two.
