I started this Journey when I went to the informational session in November 2012.  I had my first appointment with the bariatric nurse in January 2013, followed shortly after by the physical therapist, nutritionist and psychiatrist.  I started at 252.2 pounds-my highest weight ever and I was totally disgusted.  I vowed that I would be successful at this.  I owed it to myself and my family to live a long healthy and active life.  Surgery day I was 225.0 pounds.  Today I am 8 days post op and weighed in at 220.6 this morning.  I am on my way to a healthier me....
