Hi everyone:  I had my RNY in May 2001.  I weighed 257 the day of surgery.  I lost 80 pounds.  I did reach 160 on my scale.  I pretty much leveled out at 165 pounds.  I had a tummy tuck that was partially successful.  I have always carried my weight around my stomach area. This past winter, my 31-year-old daughter died from alcoholism.  I have slowly gained 5-8 pounds.  I feel it!  I have been so proud of myself for maintaining the weight loss.  I see the commercials on tv with the success stories, yet, the commercials do not say the results are with plastic surgery.  I am 59 years of age and attempt to be the best I can.  I live in the St Louis, MO area.
