My weight has been up and down (mostly up) over the past 2 years.  August 2008 at doctor's office weight 229 pounds.  Height 5'3"!!!  Ever since high school I thought I was only 5'2", but at my first real physical in years, I fnd out that I am a whole inch taller than I thought I was.

I started running at the beginning of March.  The couch to 5k programme.  I now weigh 202 pounds.  I plan on doing my first 5k race/run this Saturday, June 6, 2009

The kids' summer vacation is turning out to be harder for me than I expected.  We just don't have the routine going and I am not doing well in the healthy lifestyle department.  I did not lose any weight this month.

May 23, 2007

It's May 23.  I am down to 204 pounds.  64 more pounds to reach my goal.  I have only lost 5 pounds this month.  I haven't been exercising as much.  Anthony hasn't been as regular with his nap-time, so I haven't had the same regular exercise time.  However, school vacation starts tomorrow, and the kids and I have a plan.  I have high hopes for next month's weigh-in.

This is me getting back on the track I started in September of 2001.  This is a healthy eating and exercising plan that over the past five and a half years has been interrupted by 3 pregnancies (one boy, one girl and one miscarriage) and a major move half-way around the world.  I am now resuming this healthy lifestyle plan and I will stick with it  I know I'll mess up sometimes, but I will stick with it.

January 20

I have been doing a 45 minute low impact aerobics routine 5 times a week since the beginning of the year.  I stepped on some scales at a hotel gym today and i weigh 226 pounds.  Yikes!!  That is my highest ever non-pregnant weight and I have been exercising for nearly three weeks!!!!!!  Makes me wonder what I weighed before that.  Then I'd really know how much I lose, but 226 will have to be my starting number.

February  28

Had to take my youngest to the doctor.  Weighed on his scales while waiting.  Down 8 pounds to 218.

March 23

Weighed at my sister-in-law's house.  Down 4 more pounds to 214.

April 11

Started keeping a food journal, and getting more serious about not eating sweets.

April 25

Bought myself some scales so I can weigh more regularly.  On my scales here at home I weigh 209.  Even though I weigh myself 3 or 4 times a week, I will only record my weight once a month.
