I've been struggling with my weight most of my life. It was like a roller coaster, up and down through my childhood. Even though I was kind of big and chubby I was still athletic, into sports, strong and very fast for my size. I would say that was the benefit from a competitive point of view, because I was under estimated most of the time and that was my edge in any sport that played. After a couple of years of graduating high school I moved to from New York to Florida to live with my grandparents and start college. It was at college where I met wife and got married and had 3 beautiful children. Suddenly I gradually started to gain weight, was not as active as I use to and was eating every and anything. I basically let myself go, and with that came low self esteem, depression, anti social and loss of hope for myself. Just a year ago is when I hit rock bottom. It was when saw the look of disappointment on my oldest daughter face when Couldn't go on a roller coaster with her due to my weight. I was then determined to make a change in my life, never wanting to relive that moment once again. Now I've researched and decided to have bariactric surgery and can't wait to live life again for myself and most of all for my family.
