My story, well I guess I have always been a big kid but really didn't start getting big until I was about 6 years old. My 1st year of teeball when I was 5 I was the smallest kid on the team the next year I was the biggest by far. When I was in 5th grade during the yearly health checkup I still remember my size for some weird reason can't remember any other year back then but I was 5' 8" and weighed 153 lbs that sounds normal right?? but not when you are 10 years old. Then my 9th grade year in highschool got on the scale for JV football 6' 2" 315 Then after Highschool got up to about 350lbs then lost some weight got down to 245lbs then found out I had an over active Thyroid ( Grave's Disease ). Then I got my Thyroid killed off by I-131 Radioactive Iodine treatment and gained 80lbs in 4 months after that it has been a lossing battle ever since. Now I am a Husband and a Father to two lovely little girls that are my world and yet I have always been very athletic the weight is finnaly taking its toll. My knees and joints always hurt and forget running any more than about 50 yards. I want to be able to run with the girls when my oldest starts riding a bike hold her steady until she is ready to go by herself. I can't remember the last time I was able to ride a rollercoaster. I am shootin for a sugery date around the 2nd week of june 09.
