I am 48 years old and have been married to my 3rd husband for the past 15 years. I have one son from my first marriage and he is married to a wonderful girl named Brenda and they have 2 precious children-Brandan 7 and Terrance 1. I have been overweight most of my life but the past 20 years have been my worst. My family doctor suggested to me over 10 years ago to consider WLS but I was too scared and really thought I would do it on my own, boy was I wrong now I am about 150 LBS heavier and I have had 2 heart attacks the 1st one at 36. I am so looking forward to having my VSG and starting a whole new life. God has been so good to me and I would like to be able to take advantage of the wonderful blessing he has given me.
Well I had my surgery on February 20th, 2008 and since surgery I have lost 36 pounds but I am down a total of 52 pounds. I lost prior to surgery. I feel terriffic.
