Sooo im approaching my year post op mark and I have lost a total of 186lbs. I couldnt be happier. My life had changed so much.  convinced myself when I was a bigger girl that I was happy and enjoying my life, but I really wasnt. I was held back from so much that I didnt even realize what I was missing out on. How could I know? I was trapped in that body forever! It's a tough road, and its going to be a battle for the rest of my life. I have noticed that my hunger has come back strongly and my surgeon said that it's completly normal, now its up to me to make the right choices, and i am! Weight is coming off slower and slower, but its normal and I dont care! lol Just happy and feeling awesome, and soo happy for everyone enjoying the same sucess and for people looking forward to there upcoming surgeries! Can't wait for summer 2010!!! woo hooo :)

heyy guys! So upset I havent been on this site in a while. I've popped in here and there to post for some issues, but i couldnt be more happier! I am now 6 months post op and down 138lbs!! Sooo awesome! I love that people dont even recognize me anymore. I still get a little sick here and there and have to be cautious everyday, but I would probably say this is the best thing I ever did for mysefl. Hope everyone else out there in the OH world is having the same success and happiness! :)

One week to surgery and 28 lbs down! After I had my consult with my surgeon last week I was down 21 lbs..and he was def. good with that, but I keep losing weight, soo proud of myself!!!!! Can't wait to get this done..So nervous and pumped all at the same time!! Crazzzzzy!

The most amazing thing happened. I went in for my consult with my surgeon, not knowing what to expect out of the visit. It went better than I ever expected it to, he was soo happy with the progess that I made, said that I was very healthy and ready to go! I was prepared to have to wait a while for my date, but I was shocked when I got my good news. The program that I am in usually all the doctors have to sit down and discuss your progress and situation before they all ok you for a date, but the surgeon said I could have a date within the next 2 weeks and they booked it that day for me! It was incredible!!! I can't wait! My surgery is booked for April 29th! I can't believe it! All the hard work really does  pay off in the end :)

only two more visits left of all my pre-op work and they let me book my consult with the surgeon, that means when i meet with him and my weight goes down and stays down, i get booked for surgery!!! SOO EXCITED! cant wait

Today I went to one of my group meetings(required before surgery) and I come out feeling so motivated to get this weight off, keep going to all these appointments and get to my surgery date! Then I come home, and all I can think about is eating. They say that sometimes you can be eating when your not hungry, that your replacing something thats missing with food, but I cant figure out whats going on here. I have lost weight in the past, so I know i have it in me, but this time, I feel like its nearly impossible because of my actions and feelings. This has got to stop fast, the only direction im heading in is down.
