Hello,

      I am proud to say that I am down to 228 as of right now. I have been walking/run 5 miles almost every day, As well as other workout routines. I feel so good and I am starting to see the old me again:) I am also back in school to finish my BSN. It has been a little hiatus but, I will check in from time to time! IT is fun when I work still part time as well as go to school and have four kids to chase after. At least one thing is for sure I know have the energy to chase them! I believe now that is no goal I can't strive for or obtain! WATCH OUT WORLD!!!! Here I come!!!!

I a loving life!!! It feels good to finally start having energy to do things I want to do. I am loosing inches clothes fall off of me and I have literally lost more than my 8 yr old weighs!!

Well It feels good to once again start having clothes be too big for me I am loving the choice that I made toward a healthy lifestyle forever! I am a nurse and it feels good to start having energy again and know that the food I am eating is actually being used by my body!!!! My kids have taken notice to follow suit to get healthier and that was a goal of mine. They are not overweight but being healthier and mindful eaters will improve their lifestyles as well. Well D'sers I am proud and blessed to have joined the ranks with you

  I am doing great and feel better already!!! I have been released to proceed with more exercise!!!! OH YEAH!!!! I seem to be getting my vitamins in and usually get about 100 to 115 grams of protein in now really working toward the 120. My current weight as of a week ago was 280!!!Now that I can add more exercise should help with more enhanced weight loss!!!

    Well I am 3 weeks post op and so far so good doctor moved me up to mushy food. I seem to be tolerating it pretty good.  I am getting my vitamins and my fluids in and I seem to be ranging between 90 to 110 grams of protein already.  I will do pics before surgery and after surgery and when I am when I am 2 months out!!!!! I am loving how I feel already. I am already down 24 lbs and no BP meds now!!!!! WOOT WOOT.

    I am home YEAH!!! no complications or problems with my surgery:) Now I came home Saturday  doing pretty good getting around  it just hurts when I first get up after sitting for awhile, especially on the site where the stomach was pulled through! I find holding a pillow against it when coughing or getting up a lot better to help guard the area!  I am on a full liquid diet with a follow up on Monday 9-29-14 and again on 10-6-14. I getup and get moving but do not overdue it and so far I getting my meds and vites in as well as my liquids. I had wonderful staff at Schneck Medical Center and surgeon Dr. Robert Cooper!! Everyone was awesome and understood what I needed and the help I needed as well as encouragement also. Some of the staff has had the surgery or one of the WLS  themselves.  it also helps to have a very supportive husband and family whi0ch I have been blessed with ! ..So Road to recovery and Journey I am here and on my way!!!!

Everything is done and ready for my DS surgery date of 9-24-14!!  I am so excited and nervous at the same time! Let the journey begin to a new me a renewed me

I am approved for DS surgery now is the wait for the actual surgery date!!!! Yeah, I am so ready to begin this journey! Let the hard work begin I am all in! As soon as I actually get my date, I was told within the next week or two because they have some openings then I will post the actual date and my experience with the surgery, hospital, surgeon, and all. So far they have treated me like I was family and my surgeon is a really nice guy!
