Dear Ann, congratulations on your big day tomorrow and yes, it is a BIG day. You will remember this one like your first kiss :) I am 3 1/2 weeks post op lap rny and I must tell you, don't forget your pillow!! Best wishes to you!!

This is the first time I've posted to the message board - I've limited my comments to the Q&A section. So here goes ... Well folks, less than 12 hours from now I'll be up at Kennestone getting prepped for surgery! I'm pretty peaceful, but my mother is near hysterical ("I *am* calm, damn you!!") Yesterday I had my 'last supper' - barbequed pork with baked beans, chips, slaw, brunswick stew and finally ice cream for dessert. Today, I've been on clear liquids all day as per the instructions, and fighting the urge to rush out to Caribou Coffee and get one last XL Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. ;) I gulped down the mag citrate at 3 pm and it hasn't been a big deal at all ... I was on Scan Diet all week and the only thing left in me was last night's barbeque! So ... I've done everything I can, and all that's left is the waiting. I hope I'm back home ASAP! Thanks for listening to me sound off, everyone!
