Hi Obesity Help friends!!!!! It doesn't seem possibble that it has been 1year and 2 months since I had my surgery!!! I feel like it was just yesterday!!! Ilook at myself in the mirror and can't believe the changes I have made in 1 year!!! I have lost 241 pounds all together since I started my journey!!! I'm now wearing size 15/16 clothes and weigh 234 pounds.... I haven't been this size since I was in middle school!!! I no longer had from the camera and love to go places. Before all I did was stay in the house and in my bedroom. Now you can't keep me still I'm always going somewhere! I hope everyone out there is doing good as well!!!

December 2 made 3 months since my surgery!!!! I have lost 56 pounds since my surgery for a total weight loss of 159 pounds!!!! There are times that I can't believe the changes that my body is going through but am excited about the new me that I am transforming into!!!! I have dropped 10 sizes in clothes and walk with no problems at all!!!! No more sitting in the chair in the kitchen so I can cook either!!!!! I just can't wait to get under the 300 pound mark now! That is my goal by Christmas!!!!

Yesterday was my 2 month post op checkup!!!! Dr. Davis said I was doing good and to keep up the good work!!!! I've lost 46 pounds since surgery for a total of 149 pounds!!!! I can't believe this is real!!!! I feel so much better already and we have just begun!!!!! the only problem I'm having is tolerating meat!!! The only thing that settles good on my stomach is fish and lean ground beef and turkey. He said to just eat what agrees with me for now and to try new things regularly!

I've started my pureed diet and this is the worst!!!! Is there anybody that can give me some pointers on what to eat???? It seems like the only thing that agrees with me is soupy mashed potatoes!!! I would appreciate any pointers that anyone could give me!!!! I've tried talking to people around me but they have no idea what I'm going through!! My boyfriend makes me so mad that I wish he would just go away!!! He doesn't even want to listen when I'm having a problem. He just tells me that I did it to myself and to find someone to talk to that knows what I'm going through!! I thought couples were supposed to be there for one another!!!! I don't know whats going on with him!!! Maybe he was more secure when he thought I was going to be a fat girl forever!!!

I went to my post op appointment on Thursday 9/10. Everything went good and I've dropped 7 pounds since surgery on 9/2. I just can't wait for the next 2 weeks to go by so I can get back in the gym!!!! I feel like something is missing in my life when I don't go!!!! I'm walking but I still want to go to my water aerobics class atleast but he said not for 3 weeks after surgery!!!

I had my surgery today and everything went good!!! The only pain I'm really havung is the gas pains!!! When they weighed me befoe surgery I lost 26 more pounds for a total of 103 pounds!!! I am so happy that it is over now and I can start my new life!!!!

It's 4:45am and I'm getting ready to leave to go to the hospital. I've waited so long for this day to come. I have mixed emotions today. My nerves are in a bunch although I know everything is going to be just fine. I have the best surgeon there is and I have faith that God wouldn't have helped make this choice if it wasn't the right one!!! Well I will get on here later today or tomorrow to let everyone know how I am doing and that everything went good!!! See ya'll on the losing side!!!

I went to my pre-op appointment on August 19th. I guess its finally hitting me that this is really going to happen. You know how it is to want something so bad but never get it!!! This time I'm actually getting what I want and need!!!! I thank god every day for my insurance and for Dr. Davis becausde without either one this would not be happening! I am still losing weight before my surgery, I am now down to 398!!! I haven't been under 400 pounds in so long! I guess my nutritionist and Dr. Davis really got into my head because I'm always thinking twice about putting anything in my mouth now!!! I know its good that I have changed my ways before surgery so that it won't be as hard after surgery! But now I am on the 2 week liquid diet and its even harder because now all I think about is stuff that I want to eat but haven't cheated yet! Well I have 4 more days till my surgery....I'm sure my nerves will get worse before then!!!!

I went to the doctor on Monday and I have now lost a total of 69 pounds!!!!! he said that everything looked good and scheduled me for surgery on September the 2nd!! I can't believe it but I'm almost there!!!!

I got the phone call last Thursday from Dr. Davis's office and my insurance approved my surgery!!!!!! I am so excited!! I have an appointment with my surgeon on the 27th and she said that we will set my surgery date then. I can't believe that it is really going to happen!!!! I've been dealing with my weight issues all my life and now I feel like someone is really going to help me to becaome a healthier and happier me!!!!
