Sharp Memorial Hospital

"The floor that I was on after surgery was the trama floor and it was a busy place. My room was right next to the nurses station and it was extremely noisy with the door open. The rooms don't have computers in them-- but instead the hallways are lined up with little station/desks where staff transfers information. It made it rather difficult to walk up and down the hallway because it was also crowded with people & carts. I got little/no rest at night because of the constant coming in to do this or that (temp/blood pressure/meds/etc). I was very cranky by the 3rd day and couldn't wait to get out. On a nice note: quite a few of the nurses and CNAs wrote their names and phone extensions on the white board for me. Instead of calling the nurses station, I could dial directly to either one of them. That was really a NICE touch. "

George Mueller

"I first saw Dr. Mueller at a support group meeting that I attended while researching WLS. He was upbeat, funny, and gave an excellent first impression. Everyone that I have had contact with either at Sharp Memorial Hospital or SD Bariatrics has just been wonderful. They really impress me as being "on top of their game". The personal attention that was paid to me is the reason that I chose to self pay for surgery at this office rather than jump through all the insurance hoops and have surgery with another doctor who didn't give me the same impression.
