Linda Moore

"Dr. Moore is one of the most professional people I've ever met in my entire life. Not only is she very smart and very concerend about the obese in general, she is the most caring person I've encountered in a great while. She sat with me for over an hour and we talked about the surgery in great detail. After I was done with all of my tests, she came back in the office where I was and we talked for about 30 minutes more. She wished me luck and told me that I would be a great candidate for the surgery and she offered her services anytime I needed help. Thank you, Dr. Moore for being so wonderful!!!"

Paul Plante

"Dr. Plante has only been my PCP for about 8 months, but he is such a great listener and friend! I have a very close relationship with him and he seems to be very concerned about my well being. He was very supportive of my decision to have surgery and even served his residency period with my bariatric surgeon, Dr. Glen Strickland. "

Karen Clifford

"I had a very enjoyable and informative visit with Karen. She is very knowledgeable and kind. I don't have any complaints at all! Thank you, Karen for all of your help with my post-op diet!"

High-Protein Low-Carb Drink Mix

"This is by far the most horrible product on the market! It's bland, chalky and way too expensive!! Don't try it!"

Lexington Medical Center

"Lexington Medical Center is by far one of the best hospitals in the Columbia area. The entire staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make my stay pleasant and comfortable."

Glen Strickland

"My first impression of Dr. Strickland was that he is genuinely concerned about the care of morbid obese patients. He is also the type of doctor who doesn't "sugar coat" everything to make you feel better. He is very straight forward and feels very strongly about proper after care. I had my initial consult with him and his nurse, Amanda, and they are both very competent and caring. The office staff is very helpful and are always willing to go the extra mile when you have a question or are in need of something. Their office hosts a Weight Loss Surgery Seminar once a month for those who are interested in getting started with this process. During the seminar they address the surgical procedure, the risks, benefits and side effects that one can expect after the surgery is complete. They also have a registered dietician speak on the post surgery food choices that are available. Dr. Strickland and Amanda host a support group meeting for WLS patients as well. I have been totally impressed with their attendance at the support group meetings and they are very helpful with answering any questions that you may have regardless of whether you are post or pre-op. I had my initial consult in Dr. Strickland's office on January 24, 2002 and am waiting to hear something from my insurance company as of today, February 5, 2002."
