Hi, I'm a former USAF pilot turned stay at home mom.  My spouse just retired after 30 years in the USMC.  With all the travels and moves I would find myself hibernating more and more.  Every pound I gained made me want to stay home and avoid interacting with people because I was embarassed and ashamed.  The more I stayed home alone the more weight I gained, a vicious cycle!  I have tried all kinds of diets and lost a lot of lbs.  Unfortunately, with each new move I'd gain it back and then some.  I was tired of trying everything and feeling so disappointed and frustrated with myself.  I decided to go ahead with my VSG and had it done on 10/10/2017.  I just want to be able to feel good living my life.  Doing things with my family, being on my husband's arm at events, having energy.  I'm excited and am already feeling more energetic and confident with my first 13lbs lost.  I can't wait to begin working outand making muscle.  Good luck everyone!
