JULY 29th! I start my fabulous liquid pre-op diet on July 19th. I am soooooo excited!!! OMGosh I can not believe this day has finally come just about another month and I will be on the loosing side of things!

Oh thank you lord I have been approved for my RNY! I am so excited and I just can't hide it!!!! Now to call the surgeon's office (they are on lunch) and get an appointment for my pre-op diet and all!!!! AHHHHHH!!!! Really I am EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am back on track to having surgery. Since I started this last year I have changed my surgery choice from band to RNY. I think that choice is best for me. I just submitted to insurance on 6/13/08. I am so happy to finally be almost near a surgery date! I will be updating this more regularly I hope although with 3 kids now don't hold your breath.

So as some of you know...I found out I am pregnant...I found out after I completed my 3 mo non-surgical weight loss my insurance required! Well I am so happy right now...I am 19 wks along and so excited! I find out what I am having 3 days after Christmas. YAY!!!!!!!!! I am hoping for a little girl but as long as it is healthy and has all 10 finger and toes! So...instead of being on the losing side..I am on the gaining side of things! As soon as this baby pops its pretty little head out I will be counting down the days...to the day I can pick my journey back up to having this wonderful...surgery! I love everyone that has helping and supported me through this! May god bless you all! Have a safe Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

I am so grateful for everything so far. My Dr. and his office are so amazing and helpful. I call them and if I don't speak to someone at the moment I get a call back the same day. I never have to worry about when they will call and if I will miss it! I am so grateful I have all of the support I have. My family and friends are AMAZING! I have told just about everyone in my family that I am on speaking terms with and everyone is happy for me and can't wait to see a new healthy and happy me! My friends are the best...my best guy friend actually lent me the money I needed for my consultation with the surgeon...he didn't even ask why...(I told him however) He I think is my biggest supporter out of my friends. 
My husband has the band and he was banded in 2003. His surgeon is in Austin, TX and he was a wonderful man as well. My husband supports me a 110% he is wonderful. I have 2 adorable children who I love with all of my heart! I want to be around to see them grow up and have kids of there own. I also want to be able to play with them. While they still want to play with mommy and daddy...ya know those teenage years are gonna be rough. 
I also know 3 other people who have had WLS...2 had the band and one the RNY. All are doing very well! 
I want to thank all of my supporters and all of the great people on this site. Everyone is so helpful and nice to chat with. I can't wait to be on the loosing side of things!!!
