Three weeks post op

I know, I'm not a very dedicated blogger. I don't get on the computer much at home. Went back to work last Monday, the first few days were hard. Very tiring. I'm still very tired, most likely due to the fact that I have not been getting enough liquids or protein. Have been having a very hard time with both and am feeling the effects. Have no energy whatsoever.

Fourth day post op

Well, I made it through surgery. I had a lot of pain while in the hospital, but it was from the drain tube, and as soon as it was out...pain gone!! It would be nice to be able to skip that thing, the whole process would be virtually pain free!!
Yesterday (my first full day home) I had trouble getting all the required protein and liquids, as a result I did not feel well when I woke up this moring. Will try to do better today!

Surgery date is Nov.30th, trying to get through this liquid diet. It is brutal!! Only a few more days to go, had to skip all the Thanksgiving meals. Figured that at this point it would be too tempting. Ready for Tuesday!!!
