Tommorrow is my 2 week post-opt date!

I feel great.    I got the go ahead for some mushy mushy food.   Boy let me tell you scrambled eggs never tasted soo good..

When I went to dr I was 10 lbs down...now I am 15 down.   

I am so encouraged.

I cant belive how quick this 10 days have gone.

I have an appt with my dr today to check all incisions etc.   I cant wait to get on the scale to see if I have lost any.    I feel smaller, and my jeans are a little baggy....yeah  me!!

 

I felt great the first 5 days out of surgery...now I am exhausted. 

Maybe I did too much too soon??   Who knows....anyway it was an unexpected 3 day weekend for the kids with all the ice we got on friday, maybe that is it.

i had yogurt today and some creamy tomato soup...it all went down good.   i had some reflux, but not too bad


I am still in some pain, not too bad thought.  Motrin is getting me through the day and then I am taking the percocet at night to sleep.

I am home now!!   I was very pleased to see I lost 9 lbs between my last dr appt and my surgery date...

Feeling sore, but i can manage.

Whew....

My primary did a follow up ekg..and said..hey that is just how you tick.
So she cleared me for surgery.     All is good in pre-op land!!!

So I got a call today from my surgeon and they told me that my EKG came back slightly abnormal.   The cardiologist who cleared me for surgery is on vacation this week., so i might have to post pone my surgery for next week...

I am soo frustrated.

Not only did I go and get all the clearances needed but that was time off work unpaid.   

Now tomorrow I have to go sit in the Dr office at 9 am and hopefully they can fit me in for a repeat EKG.

Well I went this am for all my pre-op work up.    Only 7 days until the "Big Day"

I am feeling nervous, anxious, excited.   I just want this to be a new begining.
