Wow I haven't posted in such a long time & so much has changed since the last one. First off, I am engaged to my best friend, yay! I also had my miracle surgery-gastric sleeve. My surgery was February 16th 2012 with the Amazing Dr. Garcia and his wonderful team in Mexico. I have lost 116 pounds since day of surgery & an amazing 140 pounds total since preop diet!!! I lost a whole person!!
    I am very happy now. I sleep deeper, I move faster, and I feel so much better. I had a few rough moments, but mainly because I was pushing myself too hard and too fast. I recently started exercising and I feel very proud of myself. Before it hurt to walk around the block. Now I can do an intense workout dvd and be okay, or walk for a few hours and be okay, or do laps for an hour without stopping and feel great afterwords. It takes me a minute to get into the mood to exercise, as it is still painful, but it's so worth it & the feeling of pride I get afterwords is highly motivating. This is the first time in my entire life that I enjoy getting on the scale. 8 months ago I was wearing a tight 5x shirt and a size 40 pants that were starting to get tight as well. Today I am a size 22/24 in tops and in bottoms. Exciting!!! I haven't been a 24 on bottom since 7th grade. How cool is that? I still have a long way to go but boy I am enjoying this journey and I love my sleeve!!!!
