I can't believe I've only got 5 more days to go until surgery. It seems like this pre-op period is taking forever though. I thought I would not be as hungry by this point (9 days in) but I could happily eat a shoe right now.=) Sounds delicious. Anyway , I know it's going to be so worth it in the long run. My husband, family & co-workers are the best friends a person could hope for. They have all been the best support group. I will miss them while recuperating. well I'm off to find some yummy, yummy beef broth for dinner.=)

 This is my first post, I have one week until my pre-admission testing & pre-op diet begins. Everything seems a little surreal, like something is going to happen to keep me from my lap-band. I guess I'll let my breath out on surgery day. =). I haven't posted before but I've been reading the forums for a long time. I believe someone else called that being a lurker. =) Never thought I was superstitious but I kinda feel like I'm jinxing myself by posting before surgery. Silly I know.
