I am 2 weeks post op.  Everything I eat, I eat it once or twice and then I can't stand the thought of eating it again.  I have never been a picky eater and I am finding this and the medicine/icky taste I have in my mouth all the time causing me difficulty in finding protein foods I can enjoy.  Anyone else find anything that helps or is it just a matter of time for my taste buds to return or even out?  Any thoughts would be great.

It is day 10 post-op for me and I've been feeling great.  Last night and today I'm feeling a little discouraged though.  My stomach is quite tender and sore going into my back.  It's kinda like period cramps with an occasional sharper pain in two different parts of my stomach and constant back cramps.  Anyone else remember feeling this or know what causes it or maybe it's perfectly normal???  Other than today's discomfort, everything as been pretty good.  I find driving uncomfortable but not impossible, I can't lay on either side without pain and its been that way since the surgery and bending  to pick things up off the floor is difficult, sometimes impossible.  Putting on my own socks isn't possible yet.  Does this all sound pretty average - love to hear anyone's thoughts.  Needing a little pick me up today.  Thanks everyone.  You are awesome.  Keep up the good work.
