I started my WL process a year and a half ago. At first I was a little scare and I stopped the process and try to loose weight on my own but instead I was gaining weight every day more and more so I decided to go back and start all aver again. I visited the Nutricionist, the Psychologist, did all my blood work and everything that goes with the process. I was so excited because finally I was going to be able to do what I can't do right now. I'm 33 years old and can't do half the things my grandmother does...lol. Anyways, I went to see my Surgeon to set the paper work and submit everything to my Insurance, just to fin out that he was not going to continue the process because I gain 10 pounds.
That was the most depressing day of my life, it took 30 minutes to leave the office because I wouldn't stop crying. I just didn'nt understand Why? I was very upset and felt miserable. So I started eating again until a few weeks ago I started having trouble breathing and walking, my lower back is killing me and I can hardly do anything now. So after a couple of months I decided to search for asecond opinion and that's when I visited Dr. Keroack, he is so nice and has motivated me a lot, he recomended me a new surgeon Dr. Fiallo who I visited for the first time two days ago July 25. It was the best day he told me I was good to go that nothing was stopping the process so I got some blood work done today and the first letter to my Insurance will be send next week. So I'm just waiting for approval and praying God that I get approve. So I'll keep you posted soon...
